Do magnetic bookmarks damage book pages?
This is probably the most common question I get, and the honest answer is no — not when they’re made well. Magnetic bookmarks work by clasping gently over the corner or edge of a page, holding it in place with two magnets on either side. They don’t puncture, bend, or leave marks the way a paper clip or rubber band might. I’ve used mine in paperbacks, hardcovers, and everything in between without any damage. If you’re worried about a particularly delicate or antique book, just use it on the cover flap instead.
Will magnetic bookmarks stay in place if my book gets tossed around?
Yes — that’s exactly what makes them different from a regular bookmark. The magnetic clasp holds the pages firmly so even if your book ends up in the bottom of your bag, gets picked up by a curious kid, or slides off the nightstand, your place stays put. No more hunting for your page.
Can magnetic bookmarks be used in any type of book?
Magnetic bookmarks work beautifully in most books — paperbacks, hardcovers, journals, notebooks, and planners. They clip right over the page corner or along the edge. The one exception would be extremely thin or tissue-paper pages, like those found in some Bibles or very old books, where any bookmark could potentially leave an impression over time.
How long do magnetic bookmarks last?
With normal use, a well-made magnetic bookmark lasts for years. I print on quality materials and assemble each one by hand, so they’re built to hold up to real reading life — including the chaos that comes with kids in the house.
Can magnetic planner tabs be moved between planners?
Yes — that’s one of the things I love most about them. Unlike sticky tabs that rip the page when you try to move them, magnetic planner tabs lift right off and reattach cleanly to your new planner. They’re designed to move with you from planner to planner, season to season, without losing their hold or leaving any residue behind.
Will magnetic planner tabs damage my planner pages?
No. Because they clip over the page edge rather than adhering to the surface, there’s nothing to peel away and no sticky residue left behind. Your planner pages stay clean and intact even after moving the tabs multiple times.
What planners do your magnetic tabs fit?

How do I order a custom photo magnet?
Just head to the Custom Photo Magnets page in the shop, choose your size, and follow the prompts to upload your photo. I print each one on premium luster paper with a durable magnetic backing, cut and assemble it by hand, and send it on its way. If you have a special request or want to send it as a gift, just leave a note at checkout.
